When I moved to Chicago I knew very few people and lived just around the corner from DeVrim. There were many times that I was second guessing my decision to move to Chicago and every time I'd round the corner to go to work Figo would remind me it was a good decision. And he never actually said it out loud. It was just his genuine interest in my life and the warm smile he would give me every time he saw me. I was a small town girl used to everyone knowing me and everything being familiar. Now it's 5 years later and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. And I couldn't imagine visiting any other dry cleaner every Saturday morning. Not only has Figo become a member of my family, a man I admire, a father I look up to, but he has become someone I turn to when something good happens or if I want to complain. Shortly after my move to Chicago Alex was added to the DeVrim family. Figo couldn't ask for a more perfect apprentice. Alex is kind, giving, and professional. Figo is so lucky to have such a dependable co-worker. All in all, I do believe I might travel hundreds of miles just to drop of my dry cleaning....well, probably not 100. But I have moved twice since that apartment on Fletcher and I still see Figo every Saturday morning. I love you Figo! Carrie
