Review content:
I have eaten here many times since 1994. The food was always incredible and have recommended it to many family, friends, and customers. Last time I ate here was in 2003. Had the prime rib, but was disappointed that it was dry. Everything else was great including the mixed drinks from the bar. Decided to give it another shot today (Mothers Day 2010). I was utterly disappointed. When my family and I walked into the banquet room in the back there was a woman there that was Indian that could not find my reservations. Her 2 young kids (approximately 8 and 10) were working, serving ice cream. When we walked into the room there was only 10 tables out of about 30 that had customers. They sat us right smack next to a table that had about 10 obnoxious people sitting at it. My wife and I could not even have a conversation because of their loudness. Then when it was time for them to leave the Indian cook comes out and they all start having an incredibly loud conversation for 15 minutes about soup and words that begin with ""SH"" and laughing about aboslutely nothing that was even remotely funny. All of the food at the buffet was overcooked. Dry prime rib, Dry lamb, burnt sauce covering overcooked tortellini, Alaskan crab legs that had soft shells and dry meat due to overcooking, dry chicken in a lemon sauce, crappy eggplant, overcooked shrimp. No music to add some kind of atmosphere. A couple of decorations hung from the ceiling. The waitresses would shout across the room to each other. Our waitress first handed me the wrong check. It was for 5 adults. I was there with my wife and 2 kids. Then she gives me a pen to sign the check that has no point. I can only assume the Indian couple owns the restaurant now and the food and service has completely tanked. Save yourself the aggravation and go ANYWHERE else. The OB Diner in Point would have ben a way better experience than this crap hole.
Cons: bad cooks and staff
