Review content:
If you are the type of parent to tell your child ""I'll be right back"", when you are actually going to be gone at work for over 12 hours, then this school is for you.
If you are the type of parent who sneaks out without saying ""goodbye"" to your child so that you don't have to deal with their reaction, then this school is for you. If you are a parent who says to your child ""If you don't/do this/or that,...I am going to be very upset with you"". or If you are the type of parent who uses threats, white lies, and put-downs to get your children to behave a certain way then this is the right school for you.
We specifically asked the director before enrolling our child if they practiced positive discipline, and if they dealt with conflict by redirection, etc. She assured us that was what they did. However, after seeing what was actually practiced I removed my child as soon as I could. They use humiliating tactics and condescending remarks to make the children comply. If you would like any specific examples, please email me and I will give you situations with each scenario and exact words that were said.
They are in no way up to date with early education or disciplinary tactics. They use a very old/uneducated way of ""teaching"". They are not progressive in any way. They don’t respect the children or their feelings..... or their intelligence.
I found it very peculiar and disturbing that when these concerns were brought t heir attention by myself or my husband, the staff didn’t seem to think there was anything wrong with any of this behavior either, you may feel the same way.
So, if you are the type of parent who is reading this and thinking “So? What’s wrong with all of that? Then this is the place for you. It was NOT , in any way, the place for my child.?
