WARNING! Parents DO NOT waste your time, energy, and money on the Ogletree Dance Realm. I have never taken the time to write a review until now and here is the reason......Ms. Shaunda does not have the money to cover operating costs. This will result in many cancelled rehearsals, no-shows (on her behalf), driving to different locations on a weekly basis, no end of the year recital, and the list could go on and on. Do not be fooled by the price, it is best to take your money to a well organized organization. Ms. Shanunda called me the morning of my daughter's recital, August 27, 2011 to explain that the girls could not perform today because the coordinator for the Taste of Oak Park said she never received her reservation form via fax! Does this make any sense to you???? She is a big LIAR! She did not just learn this information, she has known all along that these girls were not going to perform today. That is why she didn't even show up at their final rehearsal on Wednesday (August 24, 2011). She took all of the parents money and in return was contractually obligated to render services and she failed to do so. She lacks the organization, communication, and professionalism that it takes to run a successful business. She will always tell you that she is waiting on her unemployment check and that times are really hard right now. DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!!!!!! Now, I am left to explain to a small child why she won't have the recital that she's wanted all summer. I guess she has been practicing for her role in the re-make of the Wizard of Oz one day! This experience has been a disaster!
