Review content:
I called to rent a vacation house for two weeks. The nightly rate was $225, the weekly rate was $825 (about 52% of the nightly rate). The monthly rate was $1875 ( about 56% of $825 times 4 weeks- $3300). I could only stay two weeks, but did not want to pay $1650 for two weeks when for the cost of ONE more night I could have it for two more weeks. The woman who answered the phone said she couldn't help me. She transferred me to someone who did not state her name or position, but told me I would have to pay full price for the two weeks. If you are an owner, think about it. I would have paid $1400 or 86% of the montly price for only two weeks. The woman wouldn't talk to me. I see many of their properties vacant for the summer. The economy is tough and their math is crazy. Some house owner may make nothing now when he/ she could have made 1400 (leaving the two remaining weeks of the month to make the extra $475 they were charging for a month! Avoid Jenkins for rentals.
