Review content:
I notice that most of the published reviews are older. My experience with this salon has been so-so. The place is pleasant and clean. The nail person who did a pedi was pleasant and did a very good job. The hair person was also pleasant and eager to please, did not do a bad job overall, but didn't listen well and cut too short - I was very clear about the length. When your hair is long, 3/4"" to 1"" too short on the bottom is not a really big deal. When it's cut that much too short on the top of your head, it's a bigger deal. When I called to speak to the owner to ask her suggestion about how to approach the stylist (it was after all my first cut with her) she spoke with me briefly, said she would call me back the next day, and never called after a week. I tried to go back to the salon several times, for that and another reason, but they do not keep their posted hours. Phone messages may or may not be returned. I finally asked a nearby business what the story was, and they said that the staff sort of comes and goes, and the owner doesn't seem to keep regular hours. You can usually find them there on Thursday, I was told. Oh,well. That just doesn't seem to be a reliable way to run a business to me.
