Review content:
My son was 2 when we started private swimming lessons in Atlanta at Sarah's School of Fish. I happened to drive by the school, stopped in and just loved what I saw! A gorgeous heated pool in a heated indoor facility. There are dolphins, fish, crabs, and starfish tile mosaics all around the pool...a very inviting atmosphere.
JM is a very cautious child. He has always loved the water, but was nervous about doing anything without me holding him. The experienced instructors had him swimming to the bottom of the pool in a matter of a few weeks! He could swim the length of the pool next to his instructor in less than 3 months. They use a swim, roll over, swim technique which keeps the kiddos from ever being vertical in the water (and that is when they get in trouble). Made me feel VERY safe that he could survive if he fell in the water.
And the best part is...he LOVED it! No scare tactics. No bullying. Not exhausting. Just lots of love.
We have since moved and his instructor made him a hat with a submarine on it as a going away gift. Very special to JM!
I HIGHLY recommend Sarah's School of Fish to anyone looking to get their child trained for survival in the water, stroke improvement, individual or group lessons, and baby (infant) swimming lessons...all while gaining a lifetime love of the water at the same time.
Pros: Heated pool, baby classes, positive individual instruction
Cons: pricey, but well worth it!
