Review content:
First of all, I always try to support new businesses in East Nashville and appreciate their efforts. Needless to say, when I heard that Margot's (possibly my favorite restaurant in all of Nashville) was opening a sister restaurant I was thrilled! \r However, disappointed does not even begin to describe how I felt last weekend eating breakfast at Marche. The horrible service and bad attitude was almost unbelievable! After an entire conversation about how much we love the artisan cheese and bread plate, the waitress forgot to bring it out. One of our guest finally flagged down the waitress for a refill of coffee... she filled only that one of the three cups then walked off not to be seen again until the meal was over. I ordered the quiche du jore which is normally fantastic, however this time it came with what looked like paint on the crust. Marche management explained it was probably part of the pan that had come off. Management then asked if I would like something else so I ordered the cheese plate... again. Apparently they wanted us out of there at that point and served the cheese plate to me in a plastic ""to go"" box. We asked the waitress why she erved the main course of my breakfast in the plastic container only to have the box snatched from the table and the manager to snap ""For God sakes, I have another up front"" \r \r I have never been treated so rudely, received such horrible service or felt worse about giving someone my hard earned money. As I said ealier, Margot's may be my favorite restaurant in all of Nashville, but because of how poorly I was treated last weekend I will probably never go to her restaurant and will certainly never step foot in the artisan bakery again. Pros: Convenient location, Nice renovation for East Nashville Cons: Service, Attitude, Selection
