I started my experience with D Willy (owner and artist) years ago by admiring his work done on a friend of mine. D was still working in Athens Ohio at the time. I already had a good deal of tattoo work done, using artists from my local area (Chillicothe) This same friend gave me a gift certificate for D.'s new location, Sweet Baby Octane, in Columbus a few years ago. I shot D an e-mail with a very rough idea of what I'd like to get, and he promptly sent me a very good sketch that was exactly what I had in mind. The tattoo experience was a great one, very friendly, relaxed environment. The studio is very well organized, very clean, and private from the office and waiting area. I have now had 3 large custom pieces done and they all continue to be of killer quality and design. In my opinion, the excellent artistic skills of both D and J , on and off the skin are what sets them apart from the half dozen or so other artists and shops that I've worked with, and mind you, the other shops were no hatchet jobs. \r
D and J will consult with you and work out exactly what you want applied, simple or elaborate, big or small\r
Sweet Baby Octane is defnitely the premier shop in the Columbus area, I've become an evangelist for them, and more than a dozen of my friends are now faithful customers!
Pros: excellent artistic skills as well as tattooing skills
