The four of us splurged and ordered an array of appertizers, entrees, and desserts. The onion gruyere soup was to die for. The calamari was tasty, and the smoked salmon with a potato cake was most excellent. The entree swere quite tasty and reasonable compared to Le Gourmand and others in the area., although the wines were a little pricey. I had the seafood marvarin which was well seasoned and had ample amounts of salmon, shrimp, and other seafood favorites.\r \r The restaurant itself is quaint, and we loved the period lighting and other touches that honored the historical charm of this landmark building. Our only disappointment was the elaborate fake flower arrangement which seemed out of place in this otherwise classy setting. Fresh flowers would bring the room up to par with the food--really! Pros: Food, romantic, nice room, service, menu selections Cons: fake flowers, some listed menu items not available
