Review content:
We just stayed for 2 nights in the Jane Austen room of the Alexander House. We are so looking forward to our next visit here. Our stay was simply fantastic. Elizabeth is a wonderful hostess and really made us feel welcome. The room was simply beautiful. There were so many little touches that made it very special. The food was fantastic. One morning we had crepes - OUTSTANDING!!! The next mornging I had French toast and my husband had an omelet - also OUTSTANDING!!! There was a great selection of teas, coffee, pastry, and fruit always available. In the evening, brandy was provided. Surrounded by a fantastic library, the reading room was so comfortable and relaxing. I want go back in the winter to enjoy the cozy fireplace. The porch is beautiful, comfortable, and very private. We also spent a wonderful evening talking with Elizabeth and her husband, Peter. Everything about this place was truly exceptional. If you want a quiet get-away, this is the place to go! Located in Princess Anne, there is great seafood available. This B & B is very close to Crisfield, MD - the crab center of the Eastern shore.
Pros: Ambience, hospitality, comfort
Cons: No internet or TV - but I don't view this really as a CON
