I was a mystery shopper for this company and thought i had a good job. They paid well, and I needed the job because I have a medical condition and need to work by myself. Here I thought I was undercover and used my drivers license on all these shops, then had to put my address in the database. I find out today that this whole time, I was being revealed, my address given to the ones shopped and even compared to the drivers license I used. My drivers license had an old address on it, so I wasn't worried about it. But, here I have a problem already with hypertension, and I am sitting here at home tonight very nervous with pains in my chest since finding out I was revealed when I wasn't informed. I am one who is very picky about who has my address and drivers license info. I thought that if I used a drivers license with an old P.0, Box on it, I wouldn't have a problem, but then the company was revealing my physical address from out of it's database while telling the target I was the one shopping them, so the person at the company casually tells me while thinking this is just okay with me. Had I known I was being revealed, I wouldn't have even done these shops. I am just ill. I feel so taken advantage of at a time in my life when I cannnot at all handle it well. Now, I have something to worry about as I wasn't expecting that this company would do something like this. I worked hard and diligently for them, trusting they were keeping my cover, and they were completely violating all my personal info to the ones shopped.
Pros: I was paid well
Cons: now, I wonder how safe I am since all my info was given to all the agents I shopped for Ellis.
