My wife and I thought about trading in her 2005 Sorento for a 2011 sorento so we decided to stop in Shawnee Mission Kia and take a look. We found the exact Sorento we wanted and when we went to make a deal the sales mgr was getting antsy about how much we owed on our current Kia. I didnt think it was any of his business so i didn't tell him. The sales manager and salesman kept asking how much and wouldnt tell me how much he was going to give me for my trade. After about an hour and a half, the sales manager came back and gave us numbers for the car and also stated that he checked out how much we owed through his dealer tracking system. Basicly he wanted to give me what i owed on the our 05 Kia and give me the new car and sticker minus 2000.00 in rebates. He wouldn't budge and I wasn't going to either. 3 hours after we got there we left feeling very dissatisfied about our experience due to the sales manager going over my head about my payoff without me knowing. Very sneaky. I guess thats why car dealerships have such a bad rap. Pros: nothing Cons: very sneaky
