Review content:
We originally purchased a vehicle in 2004 from Shawnee Mission Kia. It was not the most pleasent experience at the time. I brought my van in for repairs and decided to get some information on new vehicles since my 100,000 warranty was almost up. I spoke to a very nice man, who at the time I did not realize but came to find out that he was the New Car sales manager, Chris Winans. I told him I was not sure if we would ever purchase a car from there again and he stated that he was fairly new there and wished that I would give them a second chance. I gave my husband all of this information and he went to the dealership to see what kind of a deal we could put together on a new car. My husband was greeted by Dustin Johnson and when I got there was greeted by him as well. He was very interested in helping us as much as possible. The first day we could not agree on a trade value for my van, so we waited a couple of days and I went back to talk to Dustin and he got together with Chris Winans(manager) and we talked over the trade and agreed on an amount. They tried to work the financing as best that they could, but we were unable to get a van payment we wanted. I went to Olathe Kia to get a second opinion on numbers and they stated that they were unable to come close to the dollar amount that SMK was going to give us for trade. After 3 days of trying to figure out what we wanted to do, we went back to the dealership. We arrived at 6:10, and they closed at 6:00 that day. Dustin was still there and he came out to greet us, let us test drive the cars we wanted and explained what we needed to hear. After we decided on the car we wanted (a 2010 Soul), Dustin sat us down with the financing guy and we proceeded to get all of the paperwork done. The whole time we were in financing Dustin stayed late and took care of everything that we needed that night to drive off the lot. I am impressed by his friendliness, willing to go above and beyond all of his expectations as a salesman and his awesome personality. My name is not an easy one to remember, but everytime I have stepped foot in the doors, he addresses me by name and has a smile on his face. I suggest that if you want grade A+ service, go in and ask for Dustin Johnson!!!! A big thanks to him and Chris Winans for a great car buying experience!\r \r Deana P\r Olathe, Ks. Pros: Ask for Dustin Johnson!
