A native of the area, i have been here numerous times, though i don't go frequently, but usually the food is the real treat of the place. I have been to other japanese steak houses where they put more into the presentation. This last time, last night, our chef seemed like he was in a real foul mood, splashed our sauses into our little dishes, and did the little knife twirl routine for just a second whereas other places will put on a nice show for you. I was disappointed because there was a couple in our company who've never been to a jap steakhouse and they really missed out. In additon the chef seemed like he was in a real hurry, and our food didn't seem to be cooked fully......it was really a "" ok you eat now get out"" experience. Overall the food was good as usual but i was disappointed on the presentation, and the mood of the chef, and the rushed feeling we all had to eat and get out..........on a quiet sunday night.
