I am an educator for 30 years. EdMS. Ata is the only activity I would reccomend for any child.dPlease do not listen to anyone that says ATA isn't what it is teaching. My son has benefitted from age 4. He is now 12. He will never quit. We can take lessons worldwide because it is is a a national organization. It's not a pony and horse show. You must work at it. This is an art that takes many years to achieve. Uneducated people believe it is a dance recital. It is a long process and jouney as is education.
Pros: Disipline,balance, body awareness, protection
Cons: Costly as is everything if you want your child to succeed
