I'm really disappointed at this company's lack of service. I tried to rent a facility today and I was turned away. These guys have a requirement that prevents an agreement from being made over the phone. I live out of town and cannot walk in to sign the agreement. I offered to send in a faxed copy of a signed agreement but they did not agree to that either. I don't understand why this is the case since their customer service agent said that the company would allow me to have a ""friend use my credit card"" when it comes to payment. How does it make any sense to accept payment authorization from a proxy but not initiate an account from that same person? \r

\r In addition, the company doesn't seem to have straight forward pricing. The gentlemen (Mark) who helped me asked me where I heard about them before he would quote a rate. When I told him that I had seen a coupon for a ""move in special"" he gleefully acknowledged that I had seen the promotion for 30% off of the first month. I thought this was a great incentive AND THEN he threw out that the promotion would be honored only after a ""one time only processing fee"" of $15 would be applied. I am flexible when it comes to pricing but, frankly, I think the guy made that one up. \r

\r These guys don't seem very together as an organization. I am in the market for a space that I can rent for about a year. I was willing to spend $147 per month for a 8x10 room and I will be using the space for at least 12 months. You (Mark) turned away $1764 in revenue today! Not a good move if you ask me. I encourage these guys to improve their organziation. I was looking forward to trying you out and recommending you to others. I won't be able to do that now. Consider looking for a near by alternative rather than going with H&B. I suggest going with StorQuest Self Storage (5138 Sunset Blvd). They did me right.\r
