This restaurant is a cozy family oriented neighborhood restaurant in the heart of Melrose Park.\r
It also has a banquet facility of up to 75 in the back room. The pasta dishes are excellent, always cooked to your liking. You will be able to choose the pasta you want with the type of sauce. They also have specials available! The food is fresh and authentic southern italian. Best baked clams and calamari this side of Italy. The chicken dishes are delicious, (melt in your mouth chicken in lemon sauce) Eggplant rollatini are served with a marinara sauce this dish is a specialty along with the stuffed artichokes; both of these dishes are so tasty that you will want to return to Abruzzo's over and over again! Service is great, wine selection is large. Delia Abruzzo the owner is always present and can assist with the wine selection. Well worth the drive in from the city or surrounding areas. This gem will soon be discovered, take advantage of no reservation needed. Casual dress!\r
