Review content:
This was my wifes favorite place to eat (not mine). She always ordered a steak, salad, and yam (with butter and brown sugar). I always tried something new as I could not find anything I liked (I dont eat steak much and dont really care too). To start from the beginning (always the same so one story describes the 15+ times I ate here). There is normally a wait about 10 to 30 minutes sometimes more but we never minded as the people watching was always fun. The service is very friendly even though its not great service your willing to put up with the mistakes just because they seem very nice. At times in the day a certain song plays (dont remember the song because I never liked the song) and most of the servers do a line dance. This is interesting 1 time but is anoying all the other times expecially when you need your service person for something. The next big item was the Birthday celebrations. They make you sit on a saddle (thats on a sawhorse) and give you a cowboy hat and then sing a wierd verision of happy birthday. Very embarrising but can be fun to watch the persons reaction. Worth doing to a person just for this part. The fresh bread and honey butter is great. The steak is great (my wife's words not mine). The salad is great (includes eggs) and the yam is great. They have a very limited set of side dishes (most of which I didn't like). So if your asking why the below average rating, its because of them being out of things. On almost every occastion they were out of at least 1 item that we normally ordered. For example, blue cheese dressing (out 4 times), Brown Sugar (out 2 times), Italian dressing (out 2 times) and other items as well. Now this has so upset my wife that she does not want to return (and this is one of her favorite places). I could have done without this place from the start but since my wife liked it I put up with it. If you like steak, salad and yams this is a good place.
