My husband purchased shoes for my daughter, thought the price seemed high but doesn't have experience shopping for her. Got home and I gasped at the $155 price tag. Same shoes online were $70-80. Called store, clerk was unhelpful, stating several times that that was just the price. Asked for the owner to call me, no return call. Called two days later, left another message for owner, no return call. Called today, after being asked my name was told owner wouldn't be in till Monday. I don't begrudge a bricks-and-mortar store the need to charge more than online, and where shoes are concerned I'd much prefer to buy them locally. But 100% markup is outrageous, and their response to my inquiries was completely unacceptable. Will eat the price of these shoes and chalk it up to experience, but will never shop at this store again.
