I am the director of a non-profit in need of accounting services. I was referred to this firm through a colleague and phoned them to get a quote.
I politely outlined the reason for my call, but then the phone became disconnected. Thinking it was a mistake (!) I called back. I told the woman I had been disconnected, and she said ""we're not interested.""
I told her that she must be mistaken about the reason for my call, and said that I was possibly trying to hire them. She repeated ""we're not interested"" and hung up!
I am amazed at the lack of professionalism. I attempted to find another phone number at the same office to complain but decided it wasn't worth my time.
