I just love going to Huntington's Southdown Supermarket.
Unlike the larger chain supermarkets that are close by, they give great customer service. There are always registers with fast efficient young people ready to help you with your purchase. I don't remember ever having to wait on line for someone to ring me up. They even help you bag your purchases-- who does that anymore? They offer free samples and free coffee while you shop!!! Unheard of nowadays. Their prepared foods might be a bit expensive, but they are of superior quality and taste. Wonderful meats, fresh fruits and veggies, fresh bakery breads, rolls and bagels. Their sale items are comparable and sometimes even cheaper than the large chain supermarkets. I might not choose to do all my shopping there--I usually try to buy paper goods, canned goods and certain things in bulk, I always go there for fruits, vegetables, roasted chicken, deli meats, milk and fresh bread. Their service and customer appreciation is like a step back in time! Go and enjoy the experience.
