Review content:
I found this company at the Austin Home Show and now I wish I'd never gone!
I had them do about $6000 worth of landscaping and stone work and it's been a disaster. From the beginning with Pat Dean I was promised everything under the sun and had no reason to worry - until the actual work with Josh began. My plants were NOT as described and I didn't even get the 3 specific plants I requested because Josh told me he ""didn't like them."" I also had pre-exisiting items dug up and removed after I had pointedly told them to leave them - even discussing this with Pat. The plants I did get were sickly and most died quickly (before the summer) and only later did I discover they planted items that needed heavy sun in a heavily SHADED area. They obviously had no clue what they were doing.
After I called to have plants replaced (under the warranty) and cracked stonework fixed I learned how skilled these 2 men are at evading phone calls. It took months - literally months - to even catch them long enough to have a phone conversation. They ignored messages, blamed each other (which was ridiculous!), and had me speak to a secretary so many times even she was annoyed with their follow-up. When they finally came out to replace items I was given a ""new"" contract with new warranty rules - it was absurd.
Since that time I've called again and again to have the new plants (which died even faster than the first set) replaced and stonework fixed (which has gotten even worse) and got to play phone-tag-evasion all over again. When I finally caught Josh one day I had possibly the rudest phone call ever, being told he ""didn't care if we have a problem."" He blamed the drought and God on all my problems and said therefore he wasn't responsible. When I pointed out I watered my yard and plants to the extreme and most everything (including my grass) had survived and was still green he didn't seem to get the idea. Since then I've had nothing but total silence.
Now I've hired a new company to repair my crumbling/sinking porch and walkway and replace plants they just laughed at. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go elsewhere for your needs. These 2 men are clearly not professional and there are so many better companies out there.
Good luck!
