you take your chances with them if they damage your car! THEY WILL NOT PAY! In January, halfway through their $5 car wash, the driver's door starts shaking like crazy and before I knew it, their machine had wrenched the mirror off the car. OK, so mistakes happen. They'll take care of it, right? WRONG! They took down my information, I got a claim form from them (which was essentially an admission of guilt), and then they wanted THEIR guy to fix it. They'll repair the mirror, and buff out the scratches. So I ask the manager on duty if ""their guy"" is a qualified body shop tech. Of course not!. So I tell them I'll get a quote from my body shop. Later that week when I have the quote, the manager asks me to stop by so he can see the damage. He informs me that he checked to see if there was a recall on the mirror, does everything he can to shirk his responsibility to repair the damage to my car, and when I tell him he's going to have to work with my insurance company, he then tries to tell me specifically which parts of the mirror he will and will not pay to replace. So here we are, his equipment has damaged my car, and I am put on the defensive for it! So I take it to my body shop, and they tell me that 1) the mirror is not repairable, that it can only be replaced as a complete unit, and 2) the scratches are so deep that they cannot be buffed out; the doo r must be repainted. So much for the buff job! So I pay my insurance deductible, have them do the repairs, and now I've been waiting 6 months for my deductible to come back. Come to find out, it's gone to the insurance company's collections department because the car wash doesn't want to pay! I then talked to some guy at their home office in Chandler, who says he'll make sure it gets taken care of. Two months later, I hear from the insurance company that their collections agency has closed the case, with no recovery of funds. BU!!$1l!
