My CD, which Michael produced, and on which he synthed all the accompaniment AND played brilliant guitar, has been heard and praised by industry professionals, including a microphone company CEO/former musician, a voice-over artist/singer with international credits, and a famous 80s pop artist (who had a string of hits, but whose name I haven't asked permission to use...if you listened to radio in the 80s, you heard him).
All commented on the great sound. Having brought to the studio nothing but a home demo and lead sheet, Michael ""got it"" immediately; I'd leave the session with a rendering that was exactly what I'd heard in my head, and then some. These are crystalline, well-mixed recordings seasoned with a dash of Michael's own creativity and ""sound"" musical instincts. (All this, AND he's a joy to work with.)
I highly recommend MJL Sound to all music-makers, from nascent artist to seasoned pro.
