Do NOT take your loved ones to this vet.I began taking my chihuahua (Spot) to this vet a years ago when Dr. Mitchell and his vet techs were all so great (they even made personal follow up calls over the weekend).Since he has retired, Grant has taken over, and I cannot express the dissatisfaction with this vet.I tried to stick it out, trusting Dr. Mitchell's decision to hand his clientele to Grant but after several visits,I have never left this vet happy. All of Dr. Mitchell's vet techs have left and since been replaced with amateur employees(one is allergic to animals). They will leave you waiting to get an answer about every simple question from the doctor (they have little knowledge about pet medicine and treatment).Expect to wait for over 30 minutes even with a set appointment. The costs of treatment and medication has more than doubled in just the last few years. And Grant has her own policy where she will not write up prescriptions unless she cannot supply the medication through her own vet.She wants to play the role of doctor and pharmacist, where obviously she is trying to make some money through every opportunity.I went for a $30 regular office exam, and $150 later (just for some bloodwork and the cost for a copy of the results),I was presented with 5 different types of medication that could only be bought right then and there. The doctor would not write any prescriptions for any of the medications.I decided it was time to find another vet for Spot,as all I can see were money signs througout this entire vet.\r \r Take your loved ones to BROOKHAVEN PET HOSPITAL\r 10092 Chapman Ave.\r Garden Grove\r 714-530-2200
