Review content:
I've frequented many Bookmans stores throughout Arizona. I don't often trade items in, but when I do MOST of them have given me a fair price for my items. Bookmans on Ina Rd. however has left me with a feeling of being a victim of some kind of scam. I brought a $200 dollar guitar into trade one day and they offered me $7 for it. I couldn't believe the discrepancy between the store credit price and the cash they were willing to offer me. The other items I decided to let them trade, they would give me pennies on the dollar compared to their actual worth. DO NOT bring any of your valuables to Bookmans on Ina Rd. in Tucson, they will rip you off ON THE SPOT. The following day, out of curiosity, I went into the store to browse and see what my items were now being sold for. To my utter shock, they were marked up nearly 500% of what they offered me. Even being marked up so high, they still weren't worth their original price. Which is OK if you're just going there to buy. All in all, Bookmans on Ina Rd. will not take many items. If they do, they'll offer you some ridiculous price that doesn't even seem reasonable. Like $5 for a game system that is worth $30 at least. I've never felt so scammed in my entire life, and I have even contacted the Better Business Bureau on the matter. Personally, I think what this store is doing is illegal.. They won't discuss prices with you, or even bargain when you feel the price they're giving you isn't substantial. I will NEVER go into Bookmans on Ina Rd. again as long as I live. Fair warning to anyone who goes there to trade their items in... PREPARED TO BE RIPPED OFF AND SCAMMED of your valuables. I am an EXTREMELY unhappy customer with this particular establishment, and wish I could go back to the day I traded my items in just to raise hell with the store manager. Don't go here!!!!!!
