Review content:
My husband and I ate at Tupelo Honey for the first time 2 weeks ago. It was a weekend morning and they were busy so we had to wait for a table. We were ushered to the back of the restaurant where there was a sitting area with complimentary coffee. Very nice! Brunch was delicious! I had an appetizer which was too big to finish. It was several slices of fried green tomatoes on top of a bed of the best cheese grits I've ever had. The dish was topped with chiffonaded fresh basil and came with a garnish of pickled okra. I also ordered the biscuits (wow!) and their homemade apple butter. The biscuits came with a tasty raspberry jam as well. My husband had a mug of homemade tomato soup that was creamy and delicious. The coffee was excellent too. Highly recommended. Pros: service, food, ambience, coffee while you wait Cons: none!
