Well I bought my dress on sale at another shop when I lived in Tampa but as a result of my then soon to be husband unexpectedly losing his job we had to move back to our home town, Lake city. When we finally were able to have our previously canceled wedding I needed to have my dress refitted. I chose to go to The Golden Needle and ask for help, Even though they usually do not alter any dresses that were not bought from themselves they graciously decided to help me. They helped me in fitting my dress to my ever changing body and even made changes 2 days prior to my wedding when I again lost more weight due to stress. They were so amazing and helped me so much. The lady that does ALL of their alteration was a very wise woman and knew what I needed before I did. The whole business is a family owned operation and even though the couple that started the business MANY years ago do not speak much English their grandchildren are very helpful, youthful, experienced & speak great English!
