Once the sales person (Brandon Perry) and I started looking at the system that was installed I noticed the following major discrepancies:\r
1) The Sirius Sat interface requires the use of some kind of switch and can only be operated via an infrared remote control. I specifically asked for control via the steering wheel and an installation that worked with my factory deck. I confirmed with the sales person that he had understood the type of control I was looking for and he agreed that the installation was not what I had asked for.\r
2) The sales person asked if I had brought both my ipod and my ipod cable because they were not able to get the ipod they had to work. I did not have my cable with me so we were unable to test the ipod. Once I arrived home I tried the ipod and it did not work. A quick 30 second scan of the documentation was all I needed to determine that an ipod will not work via the USB input which is how they had set it up. This feature will not work in its current configuration. Even IF the ipod feature worked through the USB I would still have to use a switch and an infrared remote instead of being able to control the ipod with my steering wheel controls.\r
3) I was told by the sales person that they were going to use the USB hookup for my ipod and that the flip down DVD system could be hard wired via RCA?s to my current system so that I would not need to use an FM modulator. Once the install was complete the sales person told me the only way for me to hear the DVD through my speaker system was through an FM MODULATOR!\r
4) Finally the installation of the DVD flip down system is questionable at best. They weight of the system is already causing my headliner to sag which to me is an indication of improper installation. In the heat of Arizona I imagine the headliner will not lat the summer.\r
