Review content:
I had seen 5 stars on these pages and decided to pack up the family and try this place out. Easy to park - few people in the restaurant, few people walking in while we were seated - it all looked and sounded pretty good. But, the chicken teriyaki lunch special although cheap was pretty much like food court fare. The salad had ""french"" dressing - in a ""japanese/asian"" restaurant !!!! It was served on a paper plate with a plastic fork - I know we're saving money - but it was a little too cheap for a ""sit down"" restaurant. The sushi lunch special was just okay. Iced tea was green tea made from a powder - no brewed tea. \r
Okay, and one more pet peeve - if restaurants are going to use the fake ""krab"" as crabmeat (in this restaurant's case - in the California rolls) - let the customers know. Again, I know it's cheaper - but some of us will pay a little more to eat ""real"" food - especially when you think Japanese food is supposed to be more healthy.\r
I saw a few ""locals"" coming in to buy lunches in styrofoam boxes from a serving area near the cash register - maybe that stuff is better for takeout? I spent a little over $10 a person after everything was done - not an amazing deal nor was the food fabulous. I guess if you work nearby and this is one of your only quick options compared to burgers it's okay.
Pros: not crowded
Cons: average mall food court kind of food
