Review content:
In 2006 we paid Dura-Foam $17,000+ for a new foam roof. Due to a major remodel where we have had significant plumbing and electrical work on our roof, we are now faced with investing in a new roof. From the beginning they didn't treat us as a returning, valued customer. It was difficult to simply have them come out to give us a quote, refusing unless we had a design in PDF document form of our roof! The Dura-Foam acted as if they were doing us a favor and often were very dismissive and arrogant. At one point, they came out for a second look at our roof and didn't have the courtesy to even speak to our contractor and didn't return our calls. We always had to call them to ask them for a solid quote, which we never received. Finally, Dura-Foam simply told us that we should use another roofer because they felt our roof was too difficult for them. I can't recall being treated so poorly by a services company, especially one that has built a business in our Greenmeadow, Palo Alto community. It appears they believe they are the only roofer in town and no longer believe they need to treat customers...RETURNING customers...with respect and courtesy. Of course, there are other Foam Roofers in town which have acted very professionally towards us and we plan to use them. I encourage anyone considering Dura-Foam to consider a business that will value your business. On the Eichler Network Dura-Foam does a fantastic job of positioning themselves as the foam roof experts, but they aren't the only business that can provide a quality foam roof. In fact, they've had some very negative responses related to how they treat customers and the quality of their work. Check out Yelp. I feel it is our obligation to inform our neighbors when a service provider does not deliver.
