Businiess name:  Sievert Dwight W Md

Review content:
My visit to Dr. Sievert's office was my second visit to a psychiatrist in my life. \r The medication he prescribed me had no FDA-approved use for the \r condition I was seeing him for. He did not clearly explain all of the possible\r side effects. He did not explain that abruptly stopping the medication that I \r was prescribed could potentially cause psychosis. \r \r His office staff was unreliable in returning my telephone calls and on\r several occasions -- even when I needed the medication described above --\r did not call back at all. Complaints against his office staff have been \r confirmed by other people I know.\r \r Because his office staff did not return my telephone call, I did not receive \r a refill of the aforementioned medication when I needed it. It is very\r probable that abruptly stopping the medication precipated my psychosis,\r thereby worsening my condition. \r \r There is a Ph.D. psychologist, and graduate of UCSD, who ""doesn't like\r Dr. Sievert"" in my community. She performed my psychological tests and\r did a very professional job. \r \r I do not recommend Dr. Sievert to any patient; primarily due to the lack of \r office communication with his patients. Mental health patients pay good \r money for the services we receive. We should receive better service than\r telphone calls that go unreturned. Pros: Psychiatrist has some insightful comments Cons: Office staff does not return phone calls; Psych too old to keep up on new developments
