After reading all of these awful reviews about Lestan's on CitySearch, I really thought I should speak up. I visted Lestan's over this past weekend on a search for my wedding dress. This was my first visit to Lestan's, and the third bridal shop I had visited in the New York area.\r
I had Etty as my personal consultant, and I was very pleased with her help and service. The other shops I had visited really had no idea what I was looking for, even after showing them pictures of the dress styles I liked. Etty, however, brought out gown after gown that matched my style PERFECTLY. She made suggestions throughout the process as to what I might like and how I might build upon my wedding dress ideas, and every time, she was *right on the money.* I finally felt like I was being listened to and understood! All through the trying-on process, Etty was there to help me into and out of gowns, and to supply various veils and numerous pieces of jewelry so I could get the real feel of what I might look like on my special day.\r
In the end, I found a perfect dress at Lestan's that was not only beautiful, but WELL within my budget. I can't believe I found a such a gorgeous gown for such a bargain price! \r
I also should note that the girls at Lestan's went beyond the ""call of duty"" and referred my mother, my bridesmaid and I to a local restaurant and give us the directions as well. It was as good as they said it would be!\r
Anyway, given all of the negative reviews of Lestan's on this site, I FULLY intend to keep all brides updated throughout this process as I have my gown delivered to and altered by the workers at Lestan's. \r
