Businiess name:  Jim's Plumbing & Heating

Review content:
I am writing this review on behalf of a friend mine. We called Jim's to help with a sprinkler problem. I described the problem and was told the valve installation would run from $125 to $140. Well the valve was not a total loss it just needed a new gasket. The tech had an O ring, not the actual gasket in his van, but did solve the problem. He changed in about 5 minutes (honestly). I asked how much. he said $95. After some conversation he settled for $80. He said there was a minum charge. They didn't tell me that over the phone. At most this was a $25 job, in my opinion. My friend is 77 yrs old and is an honest Gardnerville citizen for many years. This is not what I call community service, this is jabbing. I understand this bussiness is now called Do-Rite Plumbing.
