Review content:
In the entire time I have known of this store it has been a knowledgeable and friendly place to be. We shopped there when I was a child and I even worked there before I had to move. It is not only a great place to shop but to work as well. They have high standards and are committed to customer satisfaction and helping promote responsible pet ownership. If you plan on getting a new pet remember that while the employees do everything in their power to educate you on your new commitment, it is your responsibility to research everything you can about the animal or animals you are interested in before purchase. This was always a requirement as a child when I was growing up and wanted a new pet and is a great practice for children and adults a like. If you are unfamiliar with an animal you should also ask loads of questions. Buying on impulse does not usually end well and was something I always discouraged. A general rule of thumb you should consider when looking at multiple critters in the same enclosure is that while they may get along there are many factors that can change that. A few examples are enclosure size, hiding spaces, number of feeding areas, and handler practices (socialization, how ofter you handle them and how, separating them for longer amounts of time, etc.) If you used to work with me I would love to hear from you also. Take care all and happy shopping. K.
