I am from La Jolla and been around authentic mex all my life. Of all the rave reviews this was a must try for me. I took my family from Corona Del Mar. BAD MISTAKE!!! When I went to use the restroom the female WHITE waitress was talking about my father, Being a mexican that looked like something from the crops down the street and that she could not understand him and if he was going to be here he needs to speak the language. Yes my father sounds and looks like an older Antonio Banderas and is one of the most cordial men you will ever meet unless he is in his court room. He is also one of the most prominent judges in Orange County California. To the stupid waitress...DONT JUDGE By SKIN TONE MY FRIEND.
