Hello. I am one of the owners of AOMDC. The comments posted by ""jumpingforjoy"" are posted by a former disgruntled employee who was dismissed for breach of contract, specifically with inappropriate outside contact with students via social media and using the facility during after hours to conduct unrelated business. This employee was warned three times before dismissal and was finally terminated, but her fiance was still under employment causing her resentment. In any case, while everyone is entitled to their opinions; the information in her posting is not just opinion based. Our studio is cleaned weekly, but we do have lots of traffic in and out each week. I hold a BA in Dance Education and a MBA and all of our teachers (ironic, excluding the one we let go who and wrote this posting) are college educated professionals who have to pass a background check. Costumes absolutely do not cost us $5.99 wholesale. We take the average cost of costumes to determine the set price so everyone can budge at the beginning of the year and set that at $70. Please come stop in and take a look around if you like, we are in the process of painting this summer an putting in new lobby floors. Price out costumes at any studio or rec center in the area and you'll see that our costume prices are not at all inflated and comparable to others as it's as simple as they cost what they cost, no way around it. It's interesting that the review that she posts for the St.Paul drycleaners is also her family business... Interesting.
