Yes, I too purchased furniture from shady John R. Cannon and staff and his goofy old sidekick that hung out on the couch watching TV all day making snide comments to customers . When I offered John a low price on a piece of furniture I was surprised he immediately jumped on it and took it. This should have been a clue. I decided I would pick it up in a few weeks. However, my angels knew better....and low and behold I accidentally came across someone that new of this business and owner. The angel (to remain nameless) told me to find a way to pick up the furniture that same day before he went out of business in May/June 2009. I ran back to the store with a van and picked it up - and a few weeks later, the shop was indeed closed. John was pocketing all the money and not paying his staff. Good news is we won't be seeing him in the afterlife.\r \r If you're looking for John R. Cannon, which I would suspect many of you are, he is an Associate Professor of Science Eduation (their E-Learning Progam) at the University of Nevada, in Reno. Best of luck! Cons: Deceitful owner and staff
