Review content:
I do not care too much for the chain restaurants, I usually like to go out to breakfast at hometown private owned places. Today I went to parkside Cafe in Pinellas Park. The one thing I told the server upfront was how I wanted my Omelet cooked. The only bad thing about the smaller restaurants it seems the way an Omelet might be cooked can vary from one place to another. I asked that the egg be cooked on the grill until it was lightly cooked, and to then add sausage mushrooms and cheese, fold it over and top it off with Sausage Gravy... Sounds good doesn't it? I specifically said I DO NOT WANT THE INGREDIENTS MIXED IN THE EGG OR THE EGG OVER COOKED.Well this is what I got, an Omelet that all the ingredients were mixed into the egg prior to cooking and the egg was browned and had skin around the edges and the Sausage Gravy was missing. I sent it back the next time it was more of the same and cooked so long that the egg was almost grey in color. I snet it back and asked for Eggs Benedict insteead. After waiting and waiting the rest og my party 5 other little by little got their food and (we had to ask for missing items over and over. Finally the server said ""JIMMY"" is going to come talk to you. I thought how nice an OWNER who cares enough to come to you table. The customer is always right.. right? Wrong! First of all Jimmy the owner never came to our table... I basically was not allowed to order food after I sent back food that was not cooked as I ordered it. On the way out, We asked Jimmy what was up with the way I was treated. He said after 2 times YOU GO HOME AND COOK YOUR OWN FOOD. The server was busyier than she could keep up with and I will never go bak their again, and I hope anyone who reads this will not either!
