Businiess name:  Gianni's Italian Restaurant

Review content:
Gianni?s attempts to pass as fine dining experience and fails miserably. As a patron of eateries that cater to the upper echelon of the restaurant society, I have dined at numerous like modeled establishments on both coasts. Gianni?s has all the makings of a great dining experience; that is until you are seated. The restaurant itself is poorly setup and tables are arranged so that you are either in your neighbors lap or in a direct path of high traffic. The staff is knowledgeable about the cuisine and the wine list but harbor a visible and appalling disdain for anyone under the age of thirty, not dressed in their best suit or any patron they perceive at a glance to be of a lower social class. The service is slow and on a busy night, don?t even think about getting that water with lemon you asked for in a timely manner. And the food is...nothing special. I?ve had lasagna delivered by my neighborhood pizza place that sports a strikingly similar tasting meat sauce. The house dressing is ho-hum, the desert selection uninspired and the same wine can be found at places like the Macaroni Grill or Olive Garden. If all this wasn?t enough, the last time I dined at Gianni?s a waiter spilled an entire tray of blistering hot pasta all over my fiances head and neck! The complete lack of acknowledgement from the managerial staff to this plight was the last straw. As my fiance sat wiping sauce from her sweater in complete embarrassment with half of the restaurant looking and a patron at another table dashed off to get ice from the kitchen, the staff continued to seat other customers as if nothing at all had occurred. Do yourself a favor, avoid the attitude, aggravation and average cuisine and go to Macaroni Grill instead. The food and service will be better and if you get bored waiting for that water with lemon, at least there you can draw on the tables. Pros: Deep Wine List Cons: Terrible Service, Average Food, Over Priced
