Review content:
You know...here's the thing. We purchased a Groupon for the Mini-Detail (hand wash, vacuum, tire cleaning and dash board treatment). For $17 bucks I figured it was worth a wash a vacuum.
Upon arrival, I told the receptionist and the guy inside (guessing manager) that I did not want any, ANY chemicals used inside the car expect Windex for the windows. My wife is sensitive to chemicals and plus, I hate the way Armour All and those things look on the dash.
When I picked up the car the exterior looked good, not great. The wash had been done with some haste. There are still smudges on the driver side and the back. Car was mostly dry.
The interior had been vacuumed, thanks. However, there was something sprayed all over the dash, radio controls, seat, steering wheel, center consul, my iPod, heater controls, etc., including residue of this on the interior windows that were supposed to be cleaned. I spent 30 minutes when I got home with a damp cloth trying to cleaning this up.
We will not be returning to Derek's for the simple matter that the simplest request could not be fulfilled. I did not return to the office to correct the problem...because really, how do you take Armour All off a dash?
