I purchased a washer and dryer from your store (Hoyt's) in Blairesville, Georgia on March 12, 2011. All went well until it was determined that the washer was defective. After the repairman was here twice, I asked the store to replace the washer or give me my money back. In all fairness, the sales person was great. He spent all day trying to find me a washer. He called in the late afternoon (Saturday) and said that a washer could not be found. The owners of Alexander's agreed to give me an upgraded washer and deliver it on Monday. That appeased me. I called on Monday to find out when the washer would be delivered and was told they would call me. Then the salesman called back and said they would not be upgrading the washer, because they had just received a shipment like my original washer. I made him aware that I felt that Hoyt's should honor their previous agreement, due to the aggravation I had endured. Needless to say, the owners did not agree. I feel a person or company is only as good as their word and these people definately are not. I will not be shopping here again. I have a bad taste in my mouth after this experience.
