I love mexican food and when someone told me this place his highly recommended, I thought I would give it a try. This might sound like a litany of complaints but here it is:\r - they didn't have any salsa! Which Mexican restaurant doesn't have salsa in the middle of the day? I went there during lunch time.\r - they will charge you for everything. For example, a small splash of sour cream costs $.50 and guacomole, of course, is more expensive. Now, I know most places will charge for guacomole but charging for sour cream is news to me.\r - the food was absolutely bland!! Mexican food, to me, means different herbs (like Cilantro etc), spices and tasty food. However, this food had no taste, no salt, nothing. I mean, Taco Bell tastes more Mexican than this horrendous farce. \r \r Really, I have never been so down on any place but this place was horrible. If you want real Mexican food, try Ole Mexicana in Cambridge. It's expensive and wait is slightly long but the food is out of this world (including the fresh guacamole they make at your table).
