Review content:
Last year I brought my family out to Deer Valley for a week of skiing over Christmas and what was planned to be a week of vacation nearly turned into the week from hell. Upon arriving in Salt Lake city I learned that mine, my wife's, and oldest son's ski bags had been lost in a connection in Denver. Since I always get ski rentals for the little ones, that are five and six it wasn't a big deal for them. I can assure you that not having your skis show up at the airport for your ski vacation is one you the most disheartening feelings, especially when the forecast is calling for snow the following day. After arriving in Deer valley and settling the kids into the hotel I went down to the front desk to ask them about ski rental options for the morning and where I could go and beat the crowd. This is when I found Ski Butlers a ski rental delivery service (which i didn't even know existed at the time). My vacation took a 180 degree turn as soon as the gentlemen from Ski butlers picked up the phone at 8:30 at night! He answered a few quick questions about pricing and fitting and I was on my way to a hassle free morning. They have a system for fitting boots and skis over the phone by taking information about each renter, by 9 o'clock had skis reserved to be delivery the next morning at 9:15, even the two little ones. They showed up 5 minutes early and when they pulled the skis out of the bag I realized how far behind we were with our old east coast equipment, all the skis were tuned and really to go. Since my wife, son, and I already had our boots all they had to do so fit our boots to their skis. With the two little kids the men were very respectful and patient when trying to translate how a boot feels on a five and six year old. After all the fitting we were out on the slopes by 10:30. This year we are leaving our equipment at home and using ski butlers for the whole vacation for everyone. I recommend this to anyone looking to go on a ski vacation.
Pros: Competitive Prices, quick response time
