Review content:
Pizza Mia USED to be the best pizza and sub shop around. They were fast, efficient, and everything on the menu was OUTSTANDING. They had the best buffalo chicken pizza, the best italian sub for 20 miles, amazing homemade pitas, great salads, the best steak tips anywhere. My company used to get lunch from there almost every day, and we would always send clients and visitors there as well. Everything was always perfect, all the time. But something awful has happened...\r

For reasons unknown to me, they moved across the street INTO the Uptown Deli the week of July 9, 2007. We used to love going to Pizza Mia because it WASN'T the Uptown Deli (whose service has always been awful, and food quality has steadily declined since they remodeled in 2006.) When I saw this, I was heartbroken. The sub shop I once loved so much had been combined with the sub shop I couldn't run away from fast enough. Since the merger, we gave them a fair shot, and here's how it turned out: \r

Buffalo Chicken Pizza - the pizza dough was nearly raw on the bottom, almost completely uncooked (this USED to be the best thing on the menu)\r
Steak Tips Salad - the tips were marinated in something horrible, burned to a crisp, and placed in a bed of lettuce that wasn't even close to being torn into something that resembled salad\r
Steak and Cheese Pita - (this USED to be the second best thing on the menu) This was the greasiest steak & cheese I've EVER seen... the grease was dripping through the foil, through the wax paper, through the paper bag, and onto my car seat. The pita, which used to be amazing, is now somewhat different, and fell apart within the first 20 seconds of trying to eat it.\r

Pizza Mia... moving into the Uptown Deli is the worst thing you could have possibly done. We want to keep coming back, but we just can't. You had a good run, and we'll miss you terribly.
Pros: Good variety, decent value. USED to have great food... maybe they'll get it back one day.
Cons: Unorganized service. Small, dangerous parking lot.
