Businiess name:  Movie Tavern

Review content:
If I'm going to check out a new flick, and I'm not going to the drive-in, I'm going to Movie Tavern - no questions asked. When this place opened up a couple of years ago it changed my movie-going expectations for good. Movie Tavern makes their hay by offering a full menu of cooked to order options in addition to draft beer. I must confess, I've never had a full meal there but you better believe I own one of their 44 oz. beer tanker mugs that are refillable for around $7 or so. So at this point, you might be saying to yourself, ""this sounds like the old Buckhead Backlot, now called Fork & Screen."" Well here's the difference and the dealbreaker for me - the seating. Movie Tavern features the biggest cushiest chairs you've ever sat in in a theater. They are heaven. And everyone has a little bar ledge running in front of the row for your eats and drinks. It is just a fantastic set up. The other good thing about Movie Tavern is that it's cheap compared to your Regals and AMC's. The adult rate right now for Fri and Sat night movies is $8.50 at Movie Tavern, whereas I'm pretty sure your mainstream stadium-style seating complexes are charging $10 a pop. Keep in mind that due to the over-sized seats with built-in eating room capacity is lighter at Movie Tavern than most cinemas, so I suggest building in some extra time on the front end of your visit to place your food/beverage orders and grab a good seat. Pros: beer, food, big comfy chairs Cons: only 8 screens
