Review content:
Looking for a new hair stylist, I was matched with one of their hair stylists, Nancy, by the shop's receptionist. I was assured that Nancy was the best when it came to men's hair cuts so I gave it a try. Nancy washed my hair and we both agreed that the best thing would be to trim it keeping the same style that I've worn my entire adult life. Nancy went at it as though she had been cutting my hair for years. She cut it so short that it couldn't lie flat anywhere on my head. She actually used clippers on the sides and back of my head after I told her that clippers had never been used on my head?? After seeing the mess she made on the sides and back, she decided to leave the top longer (thank God) which really makes me look like a fool. I had just returned from the Caribbean and she raised my hairline so high on the sides and back that I now have a white stripe where there is no tan. If Nancy was the only hair stylist left on the earth, I would let my hair grow wild forever! I hate to judge the other hair stylists in the shop having never tried them, but I doubt I will return to Backstage. I do know that Nancy will never touch my head again.
