We went last night for dinner and things could not have been better. I'm not kidding you. And to tell you the truth, it's not because of the food. Yes, the food was AMAZING! But I had to write this review so that everyone can know how amazing the SERVICE was.\r \r When we sat down, we were greeted by our server. He didn't tell us his name until i could no longer hold back and asked him at the end of our meal. Why did I ask? Because he was one of the most incredible servers I have EVER come across. I mean it. Very nice looking, not pretentious, smiling, warm, and most of all....knowledgable. We thought he had been working at NOBU for years when in fact he told us he had come from a kosher restaurant! He was prompt, gave us two options, to look through the menu ourselves and make selections or have him make them for us. We put the trust in him and had him make them for us. And what a treat! I'm telling you, if you go to this place, ask for Ashley (yes, that's his name) and have him bring you dishes. You won't be disappointed.\r \r Now, the food was really, really great. He brought us a torodito or something like that with scallops which he said was his favorite dish. It was the most incredible balance of flavors. He insisted we try the nobu tacos and that too was amazing. When we asked about the black cod, he suggested we eat them in the butter lettuce and with our hands instead of opting for an entire slab of it. Delicious. And then he brought us this squid pasta, which i still don't understand how it was made but it was incredible.\r \r We're going to go again next week and be sure to sit with Ashley. I would suggest doing the same. My only negative point was some of the food took a while to get to our tables, especially the sushi, but that's the price you pay in a new restaurant. Thank you NOBU for opening here!!! Pros: service, food, decor Cons: time it took for sushi, price of valet
