Review content:
I live right down the street from the new Nobu and it's great. I have been to more than a few of the Nobus in this country as well as the one in Hong Kong and I have to say Nobu LA definitely sets itself apart. I've actually been twice since they've opened and both times I've really enjoyed myself. The patio is very modern with a Japanese twist but I really enjoyed sitting at the sushi bar as well. The food is delicious, fresh, and beautiful to look at. Expensive yes, very. But to be expected with Nobu. Their sashimi dishes are one of a kind, black cod is phenomenal but everything I had was truly beyond my expectation. Service is great, the waitresses I had both times were very sweet, seemed happy to help and looked the Nobu part. And finally yes their were celebrities both times, once I saw Cameron Diaz, Nicky Hilton and Jamie Pressley, the other time the famous trainwreck Lindsey Lohan. All in all great food, great vibe, great service, stargazing galore but be prepared for the bill.
Pros: Great sushi, service, and atmosphere
Cons: Expensive
